I can't believe it's been almost a week since I've posted. Man! I've been slacking! These shots are of the tree/bush outside my window with a fresh coat of snow.

The first picture here is the original and each one after that has a slight less texture in it..I did the first one and I kept thinking that I overdid it, so I kept taking the texture down a bit. I took this picture awhile ago and I saw a flower that Mandy did and I loved how hers looked so I tried to get it like hers but not exact. Anyway, let me know what you think!!

Not on theme but I couldn't resist to put this one up! This is the ice drops on the back window of my car!! Sorry that I haven't gotten to comments for a couple days but I'm hoping to get everyone tonight. *Note* I just wanted to say that my heart goes out to Heath Ledgers family..it so sad to hear about people dying at such a young age and my heart goes out to his daughter..nobody should have to go through what she'll be going through. It just breaks my heart.

Well, I haven't posted for January 19th so I'm going to post 2 pictures this time. My father in law and I took 6 kids over to the church to play basketball and the kids were out in the hall getting a drink and I noticed an awesome sillouette picture and had to take it. I thought this one turned out pretty cool. Than we went back and made a snowman. The snow really isn't dirty..it's just textures. It was very very white snow infact. Very pretty! Anyway, so there's our snowman and my niece in the picture below.

This was one brave bird..we were sitting at a picnic table and we had all these birds swarming around us..this is taken with a 80-200 lens but this bird was so close to us anyway. This guy was right by my foot. It was crazy.

I'm not entirely sure what I did with these, I got to playing around and I don't think I could tell you step by step what I did..basically i did a brown color layer and then I adjusted one of them to hue, one to overlay. Those are the only 2 I remember..then on a couple of them I did a texture on them from textureking.com..I also put grain in them. Someone asked how I do the grain..i have photoshop elements and I just went into filter, noise, add noise. i think i might have played with them a little too much..i really like the last one but I don't know if it's too much. I think the last 2 are the same except the last one has a texture. anyway, let me know what you think. I'm loving textures by the way! Thanks for your comments and suggestions..I love hearing from you guys!
A building (if that's what you can call it) right off the freeway that everyone always paints messages on. I always thought this was kinda cool so I decided to stop and take a picture of it.

I don't know what it is about the moon, but I LOVE to take pictures of it! No matter how many pictures I already have of it on my computer everytime I see it in the sky I want to take a picture of it..I just think the moon is so pretty. That's one of the things I like to focus on the most!
